this ramadhan feels so different..i've been fasting & breaking fast with the close friends & boyfie since i started uni..since these last 4 years..although it's great being home with the family, with the great & comforting food, deep down i miss those times back in our hostels..buying our food together at bazaars..anxiously waiting for azan..sharing our food together..laughing & chitchatting while eating..
i miss those times terribly..sometimes i wish that we could just stay in that phase of life..where our worst worries were exams & assignments..but we would still all help each other out..no questions asked..since i've entered the working world,i just find it hard waking up in the moring & to think that i have to face all the work that i have to get done..routines..i hate them..& i'm still just an intern..i wonder how everyone else does it..going to work, doing the same things for the rest of your life..& well, i'm lucky now to have friends by my side during my internship..but what happens when i'm all alone later on when i'm like really really working? people can be cruel, hypocrites but i guess we all will just have to face them right?
it's true what they say..college days are the best times of your life..you'll find the greatest friends in college..the ones who will be there with you through all your ups & downs..the ones you can call when you've had a bad day or in need of help, the ones who know most of your secrets..those things you can't share with anyone else...the ones you'll go shopping for ur prom dresses with..the ones you'll count on to cover for u when u skip class..the ones you go on road trips with & have some of the best times of your life..the ones who will be there on your wedding day, the ones who will cry & laugh with you.. & if you're lucky, you'll might just find that one person that you would want to spend your life with, who'll be your best-est friend..
