I cannot believe that the government has announced that petrol price will go up by 78 sen at midnight! A massive 40.6 percent jump from RM1.92 per litre to RM2.70.

Just great. I'll be even more broke from now on.

and screw subsidies! Most subsidies do not go to the people in whose name they are paid: the poor. Cheap petrol, for example, benefits most those who drive the biggest, most inefficient cars, namely the rich. The poorest have no motor vehicles at all.

looks like there'll be a lot of car pool-ing next semester. sigh.

gotta cut down on the shopping just to get around. damn it. public transportation u may say? have u even seen the rapid kL buses in uitm shah alam? they're packed like tins of sardines every morning. and if that doesnt turn u away, the reckless drivers will.
